Campus Perth is the newest, first specifically designed student accommodation to come to Perth City. Their goal is to help students achieve a harmonious balance of study, social life, and wellness.
Lindentech was bought on solely to provide desktop support services for the staff at Campus Perth and day-to day support for guests. The original set-up of Campus Perth’s infrastructure had already been awarded to another vendor and was underway when we started.
When Lindentech arrived on site to conduct an audit of Campus Perth, we identified there was no domain to centrally manage the users and computers, the project was way behind schedule, services were not yet activated and installed and communication between vendors was poor.
Our initial challenge was bringing Campus Perth online so that they could open to students and guests by the official opening date.
Lindentech Tailored solution
Lindentech assisted with coordinating the various third party providers to bring the services online. We identified issues with the original solution that was implemented. and put in recommendations to improve the overall network.
Lindentech identified that majority of the above services (apart from guest wireless and internet) did not have ongoing support incorporated. Lindentech assisted by taking over support for all key areas including Voice, Network, End User support and management, and now is the soul Managed Service provider for Campus Perth.
Lindentech is constantly looking for ways to improve the overall design of the network, and are continually working with management to ensure the student experience is happy one.
